Alba King Size
Alba King Size is a bed designed for domestic bedrooms. Curved lines define the padded headboard and the base, both with rounded corners, and the wooden bed frame with cylindrical legs. The generous headboard is shaped for comfort, as is the base, which appears to be floating. The form is inspired by river pebbles, softened by the flow of water and time. Alba offers a warm interpretation of the bedroom, combining comfort with a smooth aesthetic made of curved lines. The bed is produced in double and single versions.
Alba King Size Bed by Lodovico Bernardi was selected as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Alba King Size Bed was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
