Farol

Created by Katia Martins and Tiago Russo, Farol is the materialization of years of studies and tests in order to achieve a great lighting solution, environment-friendly, and that could create the most visual impact with minimalist lines and bold, neutral colours. The 2D urban lantern has only two dimensions, it has no depth, it only develops on a flat surface, as if it were a drawing written in the sky. Its shape is visible and invisible depending on how the designers places it in the space. An element that manifests its presence only when it lights up, integrating discreetly into the urban context. Urban lanterns contribute to giving cities an identity, they are signs that remain imprinted in the culture of collective memory, becoming part of the narration of urban life.

Enigma

Insight is a pendant lamp designed for accent lighting in interiors. The luminaire consists of a cylindrical metal base that holds the LED light source, combined with semi-circular elements. An adjustment system at the top changes the orientation of the light beam in the vertical direction. A cable and a wire allow the direction of the light to be set horizontally during installation. The suspension keeps the lamp static and can be adjusted in height. Ceiling cups with magnetic fixings are used, so no visible fasteners or bolts are needed.

Cocoda

Cocoda is a chair made of solid wood. The chair is characterized by intricate three-dimensional curved arms, which are carved from solid wood. This shape cannot be produced by bending wood. Each piece is hand-carved by craftsmen using Japanese planes and knives. The carved seat feels soft although the wood is hard, allowing long periods of sitting. The design keeps only the necessary functions, following the idea that simplicity brings comfort and beauty. The chair measures 700 mm in width, 520 mm in depth and 725 mm in height, with a seat height of 420 mm.
