Embrace
Embrace is a bed defined by a curved headboard that wraps around the main body of the bed. The curved headboard forms protective shoulders and creates a sheltered, reassuring feeling. The version without an underbed storage container can hold a recessed mattress. Concealed legs raise the structure a few centimeters above the floor, so the bed appears to float. Removable covers, such as the Jazz 30 herringbone fabric and the Nabuk 42 leather cover, are offered in muted shades. The overall form is simple and classic-inspired.
Embrace Bed by PIANCA SPA has been selected as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Embrace Bed was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which recognizes superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
