601
601 is a lounge chair designed for corporate and residential interiors. The upholstery conceals a steady wood frame that supports the back and seat cushions. This frame is mounted on a handcrafted wood leg frame. The wooden arm rests are attached to the reinforced upholstery frame and to the leg frame by stainless steel supports. Forces created by the user are distributed into four elements, which reduces stress points and allows many years of use. The design is inspired by early 1900 industrial furniture production.
601 Lounge Chair by Fabrizio Constanza was recognized as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. 601 Lounge Chair was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
