Slab Space
Slab Space is a bathroom cabinet divided into three parts: a storage area, a cleaning area and a make-up area. The modular layout is arranged at staggered heights, so the cabinet suits family members of different sizes. The door panels use a pop-up guide, so a light touch of the knee opens and closes each door without bending down, reducing back strain. The cabinet and the mirror have chamfered and rounded edges for safer daily use. Sintered stone, metal and solid wood form the surfaces, which resist stains, wear and scratches.
Slab Space Bathroom Cabinet by Wu Zhifei has been recognized as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Slab Space Bathroom Cabinet earned the Iron A' Design Award in Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design in 2022. The A' Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which celebrates superior design of toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, bidets, faucets, urinals, washbasins and more.
