The Free Spirit
The Free Spirit is a mobile home office unit designed for domestic interiors. The unit is equipped with wheels and a handle, so the desk can be moved from one room to another as home activities change. When the worktop is closed, tools and materials are hidden and the desk becomes a closed cabinet. Storage includes two lockable drawers, a drawer for A3 and A4 papers and a laptop, and space for folders. Power sockets and a USB charging station are built in. The compact body is made of veneer plywood and powder coated steel.
The Free Spirit Home Office Unit by Anamaria Burazin Eskinja was recognized as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. The Free Spirit Home Office Unit received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
