The frame has a matte black coating, and brushed brass screws hold the bamboo slats in place. The thin steel and bamboo give the seat flexibility, so the chair stays comfortable during long periods of sitting. The structure is strong and has been tested to hold weights above 250 pounds. Japanese minimalism and the use of negative space guided the form. Only three materials are used, which keeps the armchair simple to reproduce.

Vague

The dimensions are 400 mm in width, 390 mm in depth and 420 mm in height. The curves were inspired by the ripples of a water droplet falling into a river and by the structure of leaves. Vague can be used as a seat or as a decorative object.
