Relax
Relax was created for a private client that wanted to achieve complete relaxation, a breathing space away from distressing everyday life. While the effort was placed on the function of the furniture, it would at the same time serve as an interior detail, therefore prominent emphasis was placed on stylistic properties. The chaise lounge was designed into a multifunctional piece of furniture with built-in book storage and spacious side tables all merged as one unit. Light details were contrasted with heavy and colors were combined to meet an atmosphere of complete tranquility.
Relax Chaise Lounge by Charlotte Abrahamsson Kwetczer has been recognized as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Relax Chaise Lounge received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
