Lens Series
Lens Series is a furniture collection inspired by the convex lens. The collection includes a screen, a floor lamp, a table lamp, a vase, an armchair, a coffee table, a side table, a bench and a chair. Two complementary colored acrylics divide light and shadow. Frosted and transparent finishes are combined, so the colors shift with the incoming light. The metal parts are made of fingerprint-resistant stainless steel and are polished by hand. The metal parts are inlaid with beveled joints, which limits the use of adhesives and keeps each piece stable.
Lens Series furniture by Eva Liu - MOOOMA was identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lens Series furniture received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
