Pasteur
Pasteur is a smart yoghurt maker designed for home use. The appliance heats raw milk for gentle pasteurization and then keeps it at the temperature needed for fermentation. Automatic control replaces manual boiling, which can kill useful bacteria and cause sticking or overflow. The milk container is made of aluminium with a ceramic coating and can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher. The usable capacity is three litres. A mobile application allows personal programs to be set and shared, and LED lights guide each step.
Pasteur Smart Yoghurt Maker by Fatih Saruhan was featured as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Pasteur Smart Yoghurt Maker won the Bronze A' Design Award in Home Appliances Design in 2024. The A' Home Appliances Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates exceptional design of refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and more.
