Evolution
Evolution is a collection of pendant and floor lamps designed for home interiors. The fabric lampshades have metal frames and sit on a metal base with a specially designed attachment. The lampshades rotate 360 degrees and remain stable at any angle. Rotating the lampshades changes both the appearance of the luminaire and the properties of the light. The metal base holds LEDs covered with frosted acrylic diffusers for soft lighting. The pendants hang on two metal cords for simple adjustment. The floor lamp has a compact marble base.
Evolution Lighting by Alexey Danilin was selected as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Evolution Lighting won the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2025. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
