Mini off
Mini Off is a children furniture line designed for nursery schools. Mini Off is made of Lanisor, a light acoustic material with a high level of sound absorption. Noise enters the surface and spreads inside the material, where friction between the fibres turns the kinetic energy into heat. This effect reduces the noise level in the room. The low weight allows children to lift the furniture and place it where they want. The soft surface also makes the furniture safer for children in case of falls or knocks.
Mini off Children Furniture by Miguel Ángel Sánchez Martín was selected as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Mini off Children Furniture was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2017. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that rewards exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
