Motichair is a bar chair designed for seating and conversation. The frame uses circles to connect the support points, which balances the forces and reduces material loss. Mortise and tenon joints together with fully hidden dovetail joints make the structure stable. The chair is made of carbon fiber composite material combined with steam bent wood. The form is inspired by arches and moon gates in ancient Chinese gardens, and the circular openings give a broader visual sense. A two color treatment separates the circles visually.

Taiwan Imagery is a chair inspired by traditional Taiwanese culture. The design combines the KA-TSI bag, a woven bag commonly used in Taiwan, with the Tai-Shi Chair, a classical Chinese wooden armchair used in early Taiwanese homes. Bulrush and aluminum are the main materials. The chair measures 500 by 980 by 710 millimeters. The back, the cushion and the legs form three separate parts joined with screws, so transport is compact and manufacturing is simpler. A mold controls the curved shapes and reduces production errors.

The metal parts are shaped by computer controlled machining, and the curved sections are finished by hand. The desk top uses a traditional Chinese panel splicing method.

The aluminium sheet is mounted on a coloured steel frame, which provides a subtle colour detail. The design was inspired by the folding of a square paper note, which becomes rigid once folded. The chair measures 450 mm in width, 500 mm in depth and 800 mm in height. The aim was to return to the essence of the object with a minimal appearance.
